Gem Tours & Travels Private Limited

Our office is at 54 Hughes Road, inside the Mani Bhuvan building. We are right across the street from Dharam Palace, which is a big landmark around here near Chowpatty. It’s an old part of town with a lot of character and plenty of traffic. We handle travel and tours, so our day is mostly filled with booking tickets and talking to people about where they want to go for their holidays. We’ve been in this building for many years, so the desks are a bit worn and there are piles of papers everywhere. It’s a busy place but it feels more like a home than a stiff corporate office. We have the ceiling fans going all day to keep the air moving. Since we are so close to the beach area, we get all sorts of people walking in just to ask questions. We don’t have any polished scripts or fancy sales tactics. We just sit down with a calendar and a pen and try to figure out the best dates for whoever walks through the door. It’s a lot of work on the computer and even more on the phone. We know the other shop owners on Hughes Road and we’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years. We just keep doing what we do, day after day, helping people get their travel plans sorted out in a way that makes sense for them.
