Gelani Ply Aluminium

Out here in Borivali West, specifically in Yamuna Nagar, you’ll find us at Bangalow Plot No 37. We occupy Shop No 4. It’s a bit of a specific spot to find if you aren't familiar with the layout of the plots around here, but once you see the stacks of ply and the aluminium sections, you know you’re in the right place. The work we do is mostly about getting materials out to people who are building or fixing up their homes. It’s dusty work, and there is usually the sound of cutting or moving metal in the background. We don't have a polished showroom with bright lights. It’s more of a working shop where the floor is often covered in scraps and the walls are lined with samples of different grades of plywood. We’ve been operating out of this small unit for a good bit of time. My day usually involves checking the stock and talking to the guys who come in looking for specific sizes. We don't use fancy sales talk here. If a piece of wood isn't right for the job, we just say so. It’s easier to be honest than to deal with complaints later. People in Yamuna Nagar seem to appreciate that way of doing things. It’s just a local business trying to keep up with the demand in Borivali. We close up when the sun goes down and start again the next morning.
