We’re set up in the Windsor Building, specifically in units 601 to 603 on the sixth floor. Being in Kalina, Santacruz East, means we deal with the usual Mumbai traffic on Vidyanagari Marg every morning and evening. It’s a big, busy building, and we’ve got a decent view of the surrounding area from up here on the sixth floor. Ge Healthcare is just the name on the door; inside, it’s just us working away at our desks. It’s a bit more modern than some other places in the neighborhood, but it still gets messy with stacks of papers and empty coffee mugs. The elevators are often slow in the morning when everyone is trying to get to their respective floors. We spend a lot of time on the phones or looking at computer screens. It’s an office environment, through and through. There’s a canteen in the building, but we often head out to the local spots for a change of pace when we have the time. The air conditioning is always running, which is a big relief from the heat and humidity outside. We don't really do the whole corporate jargon thing here. We just come in, do the tasks that need doing, and try to stay as organized as possible. It’s a busy part of town, very central, so there’s always some kind of noise or activity happening nearby. We’ve been in this building for some time now and it feels like a second home. It’s just a regular place where people work.
