You’ll find Gawde Products at A/1 in the Shantinath Darshan building on Lokmanya Tilak Road. We are right there in Dahisar East, which is a place that never seems to stop moving. The building is quite standard for the area, and we occupy a small unit on the ground floor. It makes loading and unloading much easier than being upstairs. We make a variety of things here, and the space is often filled with the smell of whatever materials we are using that day. It is not a polished showroom; it’s a working space where things actually get made. There are tools laying around and half-finished items on the benches. We’ve got a small team of four people who handle everything from the actual production to answering the door. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish a batch if a client needs it quickly, but we don’t mind the extra hours once in a while. The commute on Lokmanya Tilak Road can be a nightmare during peak hours, so we try to get our deliveries out early in the morning. We don’t have a website or any of that fancy stuff. Most people just know us by word of mouth or by seeing our sign as they walk to the station. It’s a straightforward operation. We just show up, do the work, and try to keep things running smoothly without making a big fuss.
