We operate out of Unit 308 in the Shivsagar Industrial Estate. If you know Goregaon East, you know it’s a lot of buildings and small units like ours. We’re right near the Kotkar Estate, just off Aarey Road. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes back here. Our day mostly consists of paperwork, checking shipments, and making sure boxes are labeled right. Exporting stuff means a lot of waiting on schedules and making sure the logistics don’t fall apart. The office isn’t much to look at, just desks, computers, and files everywhere. It gets pretty humid in the afternoons, but we have a couple of fans going to keep the air moving. Most of our work is done on the phone or through emails. Dealing with different time zones means sometimes someone is here late or comes in very early. We’ve been in this spot for some time now. Shivsagar is a busy place, with trucks coming and going all the time. It gets noisy. We focus on getting the goods from point A to point B without too much drama. It’s just how the business works. Aarey Road is usually jammed, so we try to plan our pickups around that. It’s a lot of coordination and double-checking lists. Nothing flashy happens here, just the regular grind of moving freight. We know the neighbors and the security guys at the gate. It’s a decent community of workers here in Goregaon.
