Gandhi Bags

We are located in Ghatkopar East and go by the name Gandhi Bags. It is a busy area and we have been part of the local landscape for quite some time. When you walk into our shop, you will see bags of all sizes piled up on the floor and shelves. We do not spend much on decorations because the products speak for themselves. Most of our customers are locals who need something sturdy for carrying groceries or heavy books. We know most of the people who walk past our door every morning. Some stop for a chat even if they are not buying anything today. The shop is not very large, so we have to use the walls all the way to the ceiling. It can get a bit hot in the afternoons but the small fan keeps us going. We deal with various materials, mostly things that can survive the local train rush. That is a big thing here in Ghatkopar. If a bag survives the train, it is a good bag for sure. We check the stitching ourselves when the new shipments arrive at the door. It is just a regular business run by regular people. We do not have a website or anything like that. People just know where we are. If you are near the station area in the East, you will likely stumble upon us eventually.
