G Premjee Trading Ltd is based in Nariman Point, specifically in Dalamal House at office 1003. Nariman Point used to be the only big business district in Mumbai, and it still has that serious, established feel to it. Our office is on the 206 side of the building. We do a lot of trading, which means the phones are always busy and there’s a lot of coordination between different ports and buyers. The office isn't very large, but we’ve packed it with everything we need to run the business. You’ll see plenty of files stacked up and some older furniture that has seen a lot of work. We aren't into the modern minimalist look; we just need a place to work and talk to our clients throughout the day. The view of the sea is nice if you're in the right corner, but mostly we are looking at our screens or checking price lists for various commodities. We’ve been here for quite some time, so we know the building and the neighborhood well. It’s a very professional atmosphere but without the corporate coldness you find in newer towers. We have a small team, and we all know what needs to be done to keep the trades moving smoothly. It’s about being reliable and staying on top of the market trends every single day while dealing with all the paperwork involved in international trade and local commerce as well.
