G . Choithram & Sons has been sitting here at Shop No. 3 in the Deluxe Co-Operative Society for a long time. We are right on the corner of 16th and 33rd Road in Bandra West. It’s a busy corner, and if you live in Bandra, you’ve probably walked past us a hundred times. We aren’t a big chain or anything like that, just a family-run spot that’s been part of the neighborhood for years. The shop isn’t huge, but it’s full of history. We’ve seen kids grow up and bring their own families here. Being in a co-operative society means we have a lot of regular neighbors who come in for whatever they need. We don't believe in using big words or trying to sound like a corporate office. We’re just local people. Sometimes the shop feels a bit cluttered, but we know where everything is. We spend our days chatting with customers and making sure everyone gets what they came for. Bandra has changed a lot with all the new cafes and boutiques, but we like to think we stayed the same. It’s a bit noisy with the cars turning at the intersection, but it feels like home to us. We just keep the doors open and do our best to help out whoever walks in. It’s a simple life and a simple business, and that’s exactly how we like it. We hope to stay on this corner for many more years to come.
