Frootle India ( O-Fresh )

Working at 88 Cd Governement Industrial Estate in Charkop is pretty much what you would expect from an industrial zone. It is a very busy part of Kandivali West, and there is almost always a truck or a tempo blocking the narrow lane somewhere nearby. Our building is where we handle all the O-Fresh stuff, so there is a lot of constant movement involving crates and various packaging materials. The air inside usually has a faint smell of whatever fruit we are processing that day. It gets a bit noisy with the machinery running in the back, but we have all learned to talk over the sound. We don't have any fancy furniture or carpeted floors here. Everything is built to be practical and easy to clean at the end of a shift. Most of the staff live in the surrounding area, so there is always a lot of local talk and news during our breaks. We spend the majority of our time making sure the production line is moving smoothly and that the bottles are being packed correctly. It can get a little chaotic during the peak summer seasons when the orders come in all at once. Frootle India is basically just a bunch of us trying to stay on top of a very busy schedule. We have a small desk near the front for the accounts and the paperwork, but the real work happens on the floor. It is a straightforward operation.
