Fresh Vegetables & Fruits is tucked away in Wadla West. We are located over at the Garden Plot area in Shastri Nagar. It’s a busy spot, especially in the mornings when the crates are being moved around. We share the space with Almas Impex on Ahmed Kidwai Road. It’s not the easiest place to find if you are new to the neighborhood because the streets around here can be a bit like a maze. There are always people walking by and vendors shouting, so it’s never really quiet. Our work is mostly about the vegetables and fruits that come in and go out every single day. We don't have a fancy showroom. It’s more of a working space where things are stacked up and moved fast. The floor is usually covered in some bits of leaves or crates, but that’s just how it goes when you’re dealing with fresh produce. We’ve been in this part of Wadla for a while, so the neighbors all know us. If you get lost looking for the Garden Plot, just ask anyone near the main road. Most of our day is spent checking the stock and making sure everything looks okay. It’s a lot of physical work, lifting and carrying, but we are used to it by now. We just try to keep things simple and honest. No big corporate meetings here, just us and the produce in the middle of Shastri Nagar.
