Fresh India Organics

Our office is tucked away in 403 Diamond Plaza Building on Dr D.B. Marg, right in the middle of Lamington Road. If you know the area, you know how hectic it gets with all the electronics shops and traffic, but we are up on the fourth floor where it's a bit quieter. We handle a lot of the organic supplies that come in and out of the city from here. Fresh India Organics isn't a massive corporate thing; it’s really just a few of us trying to get better food options to people who care about that. We spend a lot of time on the phone with farmers and checking on deliveries that are stuck in traffic. Lamington Road is a strange place for an organic business, maybe, but the location works for getting things moved around Mumbai quickly. The building is a bit old and the elevator can be slow during lunch hours, but it’s home to us. We’ve been here for a while now and the neighbors in the building are mostly good people. We don’t have a big fancy showroom or anything like that. It’s mostly desks, some samples, and a lot of paperwork. We just focus on getting the produce where it needs to go. Sometimes the deliveries are late because of the rain, but that's just life in this city and we deal with it as it comes. We do our best to stay on top of things every day without too much stress.
