If you’re looking for us, we’re right in the Patel Building on Raja Ram Moham Roy Road. It’s the third floor, and we’re directly opposite the old Central Plaza Cinema. That cinema is a good landmark because everyone knows it. Our office has a bit of an old-school feel to it, which fits the neighborhood. We deal with various types of wood and timber products. It’s a business that requires a lot of looking at textures and quality, so our desks are often covered in samples. The stairs in the building are a bit narrow, and the walls have that aged look you find in this part of the city. We’ve been here long enough that we know most of the other shop owners on the street. It’s a busy area with a lot of history. We don’t really go in for modern office trends. We have our desks, our files, and a heavy landline that rings more than it probably should. Dealing with forest products means we have to be careful about what we stock. We spend our days checking manifests and talking to people about their building projects. It’s practical work. We aren't trying to change the world; we’re just providing the materials people need for their furniture or construction. It gets humid in the afternoons, so the ceiling fans are always humming in the background.
