Flamingo Impex

We are located at 36, Shanti Indl Estate, right on S.N. Road in Mulund West. It is a busy area, especially in the mornings when the trucks are trying to back into the narrow spaces between the buildings. Flamingo Impex has been operating out of this same spot for quite a while now. The office isn’t much to look at, just some desks, a couple of old filing cabinets, and a ceiling fan that makes a bit of a clicking sound when it’s on the highest setting. Most of our day is spent handling orders and making sure things get packed correctly. It gets pretty hot in here during the summer months, so we usually keep the door open to get a bit of a breeze from the hallway. There is a small tea stall just down the road where most of us go around four in the afternoon to get away from the screens for a few minutes. We don’t really do fancy meetings or anything like that. People just drop by, we talk about what needs to be shipped, and we get back to it. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but honestly, nobody has the time to move all the boxes out of the way to do it. It feels like home to us, though, even with the dust and the noise from the nearby units. We know everyone in the building by now, from the security guard at the main gate to the courier guys who are always in a rush.
