Firoz & Company

We’ve been over here at the B.P.T. Buildings in Sassoon Dock for quite some time now. Colaba is always busy, especially down by the water where we are at 169 and 170. Most days start pretty early because that is just how things work in this part of town. People come and go, trucks move in and out, and there is always a lot of noise from the docks. We just handle our daily business and try to keep things moving. It gets hot in the afternoons, but we have our routine down. It’s not a fancy office or anything like that. Just a regular workspace where we get our jobs done. Sometimes the traffic around Colaba makes things take longer than they should. You learn to live with it after a while. Most of the folks around here know where we are. We see the same faces every day. It’s a lot of manual work and checking papers. We don't really do anything flashy. We just make sure the orders are right and the boxes go where they need to. The building itself has seen better days, but it serves its purpose for us. Being right by the dock means we are in the middle of everything. It’s a practical setup. We stay busy from morning until we lock up in the evening. That is basically our life here at Firoz & Company. It’s simple and it works for what we do every single day without any complaints.
