Federation Of All India Caterers

We started this federation to help folks in the catering business because it's a tough trade. We're over at Bhanu Park on Kasturba Road. It's not a big fancy office, just shop 4/B, but it works for us. We talk about stuff like food safety, finding staff, and dealing with government rules. Sometimes we meet up and just vent about the long hours. It's hard work being a caterer in India. We wanted a place where people could share what they know. If someone has a problem with a supplier or needs advice on a big wedding, they come here. Kandiwali West is where we're based out of. It's a busy area. We aren't doing this for profit, really, just to keep the community together. Most of us have been in the kitchen for years. We know how it is when things go wrong at an event. You need people who understand the heat and the stress. That's why we opened this spot. We keep the paperwork in the back. People drop by when they have a spare hour. We don't have a big staff or anything. It's mostly just us. We've been here for a bit now. It feels right to have a central point for the trade. We just want things to run smoother for everyone in the industry. It takes a lot of patience to manage a federation. We aren't experts in everything, but we know people who can help. Usually, we're just drinking tea and discussing the latest food prices.
