Favourite Book Cloth & Paper Mart is located at No. 12 Mirza Street in Parsi Galli. This part of the city is very old and the streets are quite narrow. Our shop is packed from floor to ceiling with different kinds of paper and bookbinding cloth. It’s been this way for a long time. We have rolls of cloth in every color you can imagine, though they are a bit dusty on the outside. The shop has a very traditional feel to it. We don't have any bright lights or modern displays. We just use the old wooden shelves that have been here for decades. People who are into bookbinding or special stationery know to come to Mirza Street to find us. It’s often a bit of a squeeze when more than two customers are in the shop at once. We spend our time cutting paper to size and helping people find the right shade of cloth. The atmosphere in Parsi Galli is very lively. You can hear the sounds of the market and the people living upstairs. We don't bother with much fancy talk. We just show you what we have and tell you the price. It’s a very honest way of doing business. We start our day early and finish when the sun goes down. It’s a quiet, steady life among the paper and the history of the street.
