Fancy Pants

We operate out of the Kalpana Building, which is part of the Hatkesh Society on North South Road Number 5. It’s right in the JVPD area, which is a pretty well-known part of the neighborhood. Our space is on the second floor. It’s a fairly standard building, nothing too flashy, just where we keep our things and do our daily work. Most days involve a lot of unpacking and re-stacking items to make sure we know what we have in stock. The room can get a bit crowded when a new shipment arrives, and we usually spend hours just sorting through everything. We don't have a big storefront with neon signs; it's more of a functional workspace for us. People who know the area find us easily enough since the Hatkesh Society is a clear landmark. We keep a small kettle in the corner for tea, and that’s basically our break area. The traffic on Road Number 5 can get noisy, but we’re used to it by now. It’s just a regular local business setup where we handle things as they come. We try to stay organized, but with so much coming and going, there’s always a pile of something that needs to be dealt with. It’s a busy little spot in Jvpd. The security guard at the gate is friendly and usually lets us know when a courier is arriving. We’ve added a couple of extra shelves recently to try and clear up some floor space.
