Out here on G.T. Road in Daburji, things are always moving fast. Our place, Evershine Rubber, is right where all the big trucks pass by at all hours. We’ve been working with different rubber materials for a long time now. The smell is quite strong if you aren't used to it, but for us, it just smells like another day at work. We make various kinds of rubber parts for different uses. It is heavy work and our machines have been around for a while, but they still do the job well if you maintain them properly. My brother and I manage the daily tasks together. We don’t have a fancy front office or a person sitting at a desk to greet people. Usually, someone just yells from the back of the shop if a visitor shows up at the gate. The yard gets a bit cluttered when we get a large shipment of raw materials in. We spend most of our time checking the molds and making sure the temperature is just right for the batches. It gets incredibly hot in the summer months, so we take a lot of breaks. We have a small area in the corner where we sit and eat our lunch. It is a very plain life, but it works for us. We see the same drivers and delivery people every month. Not much changes around here, and we like it that way. We just keep making our goods and sending them out on the road.
