Erican Exports

Unit 71 at Sanjay Apartments on Hansraj Lane in Byculla is our home base. Being in Byculla means we are right in the thick of things in Mumbai. The building is a residential-commercial mix, which is pretty common around here. Our office is where all the Erican Exports paperwork happens. It’s a bit of a tight space with desks, computers, and files everywhere. Hansraj Lane is narrow and can get really crowded with scooters and delivery carts. We spend a lot of our day on the phone or emailing people about shipments. It’s not a glamorous job. There is a lot of waiting for news from the port or checking on customs forms. We take our tea breaks at the small stall downstairs. It’s a good time to catch up with the other people working in the building. We’ve been exporting for a while now, and we’ve learned that things rarely go perfectly on the first try. You just have to be patient and keep pushing. We don't have a big corporate logo or a lobby. If you come to see us, you’ll probably find us hunched over our screens. It’s a small, family-style operation. We just focus on getting the goods from point A to point B without too much trouble. It’s what we know how to do, day in and day out, without making a big fuss about it.
