Enkay Technologies

Our place is in A. G. Nagar, over in Mira Road, specifically at A2/503. We’re right near the Western Express Highway, which makes it easy to get around, though the noise from the traffic is constant. If you’re looking for us, we’re close to Hotel A Palace in the Kashimira area. It’s a busy spot. Enkay Technologies is based out of this apartment-style office. It’s got a bit of a cramped feel because we have so much equipment packed into the rooms. There are boxes of cables and hardware stacked in the hallway. We’ve been here for several years. The building is one of those standard residential-commercial mixes. We have a small balcony where we go to get some air. The elevators are a bit slow, so we often just take the stairs. It’s a hard-working atmosphere. We spend a lot of time on the phone or working on the machines. It’s not a shiny corporate park. It’s a real office in a real neighborhood. We get our lunch from the local places nearby or bring it from home. The location is good because we can jump on the highway and get to other parts of Mumbai or Thane pretty quickly. We’ve gotten used to the rhythm of Mira Road. It’s a place that never really sleeps. We have a water cooler in the corner and a few plastic plants that someone brought in years ago to make it look nicer. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze when we have deliveries coming in, but we make it work.
