Ekta General Stores

Ekta General Stores is tucked right into Shop Number 1 of the Ekta Vivek Building. If you’re heading down towards the Khanhar Police Station, you’ll probably see us. We’ve been here in Dahisar for a long time, serving the people who live in the apartments around here. It’s a small shop, but we pack a lot into the shelves. Usually, it’s just one or two of us behind the counter, helping folks get their daily milk, bread, or whatever household stuff they ran out of. The morning rush is always a bit hectic when everyone is trying to get out for work, but things quiet down in the afternoon. We know most of our regulars by name, and we’ve seen their kids grow up over the years. It’s not a supermarket where you wander around for an hour. People just pop in, ask for what they need, and head out. Sometimes the deliveries arrive late and the boxes pile up in the corner for a bit until we can clear them. That’s just how it goes when you’re running a small local store. We keep the doors open late most nights because people always realize they forgot something right before dinner. It’s a basic life, but we like being part of the Dahisar community. The police station being so close makes it a safe spot too. We don't have a website or anything, just the shop front where we are every day.
