Eco-Fashions

We've been here at Mehta Industrial Estate for a while now. It's on Andheri Kurla Road. People usually find us by looking for unit 11. It's a busy spot in Andheri East. We spend most of our days working on different clothes and fabrics. Sometimes it gets a bit loud around here because of all the other units, but that's just how the estate is. We started Eco-Fashions because we wanted to do things a bit differently with materials. It's not a huge place, just a regular workshop. We have a few machines and some racks of stuff we've made. Most mornings start with checking the new arrivals and seeing what needs to be sewn or packed. The traffic on the road outside can be a real headache during rush hour, but we’re used to it. We keep things pretty simple. If you come by, you’ll probably see us sorting through piles of cloth or talking to the delivery guys. It’s just us doing our thing every day. Nothing fancy. We try to keep the place organized, though it gets messy when we are busy. We’ve stayed in this same spot for years. It works for us. We just keep our heads down and get the work done. The lights flicker sometimes, but we just ignore it and keep going. It is a practical life here in the industrial part of town.
