You can find us on the 5th floor of the Anand-105 building. We are right on Dr. Ambedkar Road in Bandra West, which is a pretty lively and noisy spot to be in Mumbai. The view from the window isn't much, just the tops of other buildings and the constant stream of cars and rickshaws below, but it’s home for us. The office is usually a bit of a mess with clothes draped over chairs and cardboard boxes stacked near the door. We don't spend much time worrying about how the place looks to outsiders because we are too busy managing the day-to-day stuff. It’s a small team here on the fifth floor. We handle everything from the initial ideas to the final shipping details right from these few rooms. Sometimes the monsoon rains make the commute a nightmare, and the roof leaks a tiny bit near the window, but once we’re inside, it’s just us and the work. We usually grab lunch from one of the local spots nearby, and then it’s back to checking measurements and talking to suppliers on the phone. It’s not a corporate environment at all. We wear what we want and speak our minds. There’s a lot of back-and-forth about designs, and sometimes things get a bit loud when we’re trying to meet a deadline. It’s just a regular apparel business trying to navigate the busy Bandra streets and keep things moving.
