We've been here at 13 Kalbadevi for a long time. People around here know the shop well. Selling dupattas is what we do every single day. It gets very busy in the market, but we like it that way. You can find us easily if you know the area even a little bit. We have stacks of fabric everywhere. Sometimes it's a bit messy, but that's just how it is when you're working hard. People come in looking for specific colors to match their suits. Most of the time, they find something they like. We don't try to be fancy or high-end. It's a small place, really. We spend most of our mornings unpacking new stock and the afternoons helping customers. Kalbadevi is always crowded, so there’s always someone walking by our door. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. Some shops closed down and new ones opened, but we’re still here at number 13. It's not a big corporate store. Just us and the dupattas. We try to keep things simple for everyone. If someone needs a scarf or a dupatta, they just stop by. There’s no big secret to how we run things. We just show up, open the shutters, and start the day. Sometimes we have tea with the neighbors. It's a community thing. You get used to the noise and the rush. We don't have a website, just the physical shop. If you’re in the neighborhood, you’ll see the sign.
