Dukes Export

Our office is located in the Mankharia Complex, which is right near the old paper box factory office on Mahakali Caves Road. Being in M.I.D.C. means it is always busy around here. At Dukes Export, we focus on getting goods moved from one place to another. The building itself is number five in the complex. It is a bit of an older structure, and the stairs are steep, but we have gotten used to it over the years. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking shipping schedules on the computer. It is not a job for someone who likes to sit still and relax. There is always some new regulation or a delay at the port that we have to figure out. We keep a small staff because we like to know exactly what is happening with every order. Sometimes things get a bit chaotic when several shipments are going out at once, and the desk gets covered in forms and labels. We do not really have a showroom or anything like that. People just come to the office to drop off documents or discuss logistics. The tea guy comes around twice a day, which is usually the highlight of our afternoon. We just try to keep our heads down and make sure everything is packed and sent correctly. It is practical work, and we do not try to make it sound like anything more than it is.
