Dry Fruit Ki Mandi

You can find us at Plot No. 3 on the ground floor, right on Tulsi Pipe Road. We are near the Suba Hotel in Lord Parel, which is a busy area to be in. Dry Fruit Ki Mandi is a place where we handle heaps of nuts and raisins every single day. The bags arrive in big stacks and we have to sort through them. It’s a lot of manual labor, lifting and moving things around. The ground floor stays a bit cooler than the upper levels, which helps with the stock. There's a lot of traffic on Tulsi Pipe Road, so it’s never really quiet here. We’ve got scales and bags everywhere. Most of the time, we’re busy weighing things out or checking the quality of a new shipment. It’s a straightforward business. We don't have a fancy showroom; it’s more of a working warehouse feel. People come in and out all day. Sometimes we have a tea break on the steps outside when things slow down for a minute. Lord Parel has changed a lot over the years, but we just stay here doing our thing. It’s about the routine of the market. We open early to beat the heat and stay until the last delivery is handled. It’s just us, the inventory, and the daily grind of the city.
