D.K. Mawawala

You can find D.K. Mawawala at shop number 8 in the Borivali Shopping Centre, which sits right on Chandavarkar Road in Borivali West. It’s a very busy part of town, and we’ve been a part of it for many years now. Our shop is quite small, but we try to keep it organized and clean for everyone who walks in. We don't have any of those big, shiny displays you see in the malls; we just have our simple counters and the products we sell. Being on Chandavarkar Road means there is always a lot of noise and people rushing by, but we like the energy of the place. We’ve grown up in this neighborhood and we know many of the faces that pass by our door. We don't spend any time on social media or fancy websites. We think that if you do a good job, people will find you. It’s a lot of early mornings for us, getting everything ready before the crowds arrive. Sometimes the shop feels a bit cramped when it’s raining and everyone ducks inside, but we don't mind the company. We just want to keep things running smoothly and honestly. It’s a family-run kind of feel here, even if we aren't all related. We’re just a small local shop trying to be a useful part of the Borivali community. It’s a simple life, but it’s what we know.
