You can find Diaman Exports Pvt. Ltd. at 401, Prasad Chambers, right in the Opera House area. This part of town is always buzzing, especially with the diamond trade stuff going on all around us. Our office is one of many in the building, but we’ve made it our own over the years. We spend a lot of time looking at stones and talking to people over the phone about shipments. It’s a lot of detail work that can be tiring on the eyes after a few hours. We have some old wooden desks that have been here since the start. The lighting is bright because we need to see what we are doing, but it makes the place feel a bit like a lab sometimes. People come in and out all day, mostly regulars we have known for a decade. We don't go in for big meetings or long presentations. Usually, it is just a quick chat and a handshake. The tea stalls downstairs are where most of the actual news gets shared. It is a bit cramped in the office when we have a lot of stock, but we manage. Opera House is a unique place to work, very fast-paced and loud. We just keep our heads down and handle the export side of things. It’s a living, and we’re good at the rhythm of it by now. We don't see ourselves moving anywhere else anytime soon.
