You can find us on the first floor of building 27 in Motilal Nagar-3. It’s right off M.G. Road in Goregaon West. Being on the first floor is nice because we get a bit of air, though the street noise is always there. Dheeraj Sharma Fashion'S isn't a massive warehouse; it’s more of a compact setup where every inch of space is used for something. We’ve got racks everywhere and tables piled with different fabrics. Sometimes it feels a bit cramped when we have a lot of work on, but we’ve learned how to move around each other without bumping into things. We’ve been in this neighborhood for a bit now. The area is always crowded, which is just part of living and working in Goregaon. Most of our day is spent at the cutting tables or on the machines. We don't really have a reception area or anything like that. If someone stops by, they usually just walk right into the middle of the work. It’s honest work, and we don't try to dress it up. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, and the ceiling fan makes a bit of a clicking sound, but it keeps us cool enough. We focus on the garments and making sure they look right. It’s a simple life here, just making clothes and getting through the pile before the sun goes down. We're usually pretty tired by then, but it's okay.
