Our place, Dharmesh Enterprises Pvt. Ltd, is over at B-28/B on the ground floor of the Ghatkopar Industrial Estate. Being right on L.B.S. Marg means we are in one of the busiest parts of Ghatkopar. The sound of traffic is constant, and you can hear trucks honking all day long. Our unit is a simple ground floor space which makes it very convenient for loading and unloading our goods. We do not have a fancy showroom or a reception area with a couch for visitors. It is basically a large warehouse with a small section partitioned off for the paperwork. The floor is made of hard concrete and there are storage racks everywhere you look. We have been in this estate for quite some time now, so we know most of the other business owners in the area. It is a tight-knit community in its own way. The work we do is mostly about managing the inventory and shipping out orders to our clients. It gets quite dusty because of the industrial environment, so we are always cleaning off the boxes. We do not have a big team, just enough people to keep the daily operations moving. In the afternoons, we usually take a short break for chai from the small stall near the entrance. We are not interested in looking like a huge corporation. We just want to do our jobs and make sure everything is handled properly. It is a busy, unpretentious place.
