Salis Fashion

Salis Fashion is located in the Jai Sri Ram Society on 90 Feet Road. We are right across from the Vallav Building in Dharavi. If you’ve ever walked down 90 Feet Road, you know it’s one of the main veins of the area. There is constantly noise from the rickshaws and people walking by. Our shop is a busy little spot where we handle all things fashion. We have rolls of cloth and finished pieces tucked into every corner. It’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes, but we make it work. The society where we are based is quite active, so there’s always someone stopping by for a chat. We aren't a big mall store; we are just a local shop in the heart of the neighborhood. The floor is usually a bit messy with scraps of fabric or thread, but that just shows we're working. We keep the lights on late most nights because there’s always something more to finish. The breeze from the road doesn't always reach the back of the shop, so it gets warm. We’ve gotten to know the people in the Vallav Building across the way over the years. We just focus on getting the clothes right and keeping the shop going. It’s a humble place, but it’s ours. We don't put on any acts here. You come in, you see the work, and you see us. It is just a regular life for us here on 90 Feet Road.
