You can find us at Shop No. 5 in Joglekar Wadi, right there in the Laxmi Baug area. We are directly opposite the Shivar Guest House in Sion West. It’s a well-known landmark, and since we are right opp. Shivar Guest House, people don’t usually get lost finding Mohammed Ali Garment. My father started working with clothes a long time ago, and we just kept going with it. The shop isn't very large, but we pack a lot into it. There are rolls of fabric and finished shirts everywhere you look. It smells like ironed cotton and old wood in here. We spend our days cutting, sewing, and talking to the regulars who have been coming to us for years. Sion West is a busy place, and being near the guest house means we see a lot of travelers passing by too. We don't have a website or anything like that. We just open the shutters in the morning and stay until the work is finished. Sometimes the street outside is so loud we have to shout a bit to hear each other, but you get used to it. The lighting in the back isn't the best, but we know where everything is. It's a real local shop. We don’t put on any acts. If you need a garment looked at or made, you just come in and ask. That is how we’ve always done it here in Joglekar Wadi. It’s a family business at its heart, through and through. We just want to keep the shop running.
