Noori Store

Noori Store is right on the 90 Feet Road in Dharavi. We are in the Indira Qureshi Nagar section, specifically unit A- 313A. If you know the Khambdev Nagar area, we are not far from there. It is a very busy spot. There is always traffic and people walking by at all hours. Our shop is small but we pack it full of things. We sell a bit of everything that people in the neighborhood might need. It is a local place where we know many of our customers by name. The shop has been here for a long time. We open early in the morning because that is when people are heading to work. It’s often dusty from the road, so we are always cleaning the counters. We don't have fancy shelves or lighting. It is just a regular store. My brother and I take turns sitting at the counter. Sometimes it gets so crowded in the shop that people have to wait outside. That is just how it is in Dharavi. We hear the motorbikes and the noise from the 90 Feet Road all day long. It becomes like background music after a while. We are not trying to be a big supermarket. We just want to provide what the locals need. If you are passing by on the main road, you will see us. We are always here and ready for the day.
