Dhabholkar & Sons

We’ve been here at Dadar West for a long time now. Ganga Niwas is easy to find because it's right opposite the railway station. It gets really busy around here with the trains and people rushing back and forth all day. Dhabholkar & Sons is just us working through the daily rush. My father started things, and we just kept going. Some days the noise from the station is a lot, but you get used to it after a few years. We mostly just focus on getting the work done and making sure things are sorted for whoever walks in. It’s not a fancy office or anything like that. Just a regular spot where we spend most of our waking hours. People know us in this lane. If you're coming by train, you just cross over and there we are. We see the same faces every morning. Sometimes it's hard to keep up with how much Dadar has changed, but our building stays pretty much the same. We handle things as they come. There’s no big secret to how we operate. We just show up, open the shutters, and do what needs to be done. It’s a family thing, really. We’ve seen the shops around us change owners ten times, but we’re still sitting here in the same spot. It’s a bit cramped with all the files and stuff, but it works for us. We also have to deal with the rain leaking in a bit during the monsoon, which is a real pain. We put out buckets and just keep working. It’s a small life, but it’s ours. We don't have a website because most of our people just know where we are. Dadar is home.
