Decibel Scientific Industries

Decibel Scientific Industries is located at 182/45 in Phase-I of the Industrial Area. It’s exactly what you’d expect from a place in an industrial zone—lots of concrete and metal. We have a modest setup here where we spend our days. It’s not the kind of place people visit for fun. We have some heavy equipment and a few workbenches that have seen better days. There’s always a faint smell of oil or cleaning fluids in the air. We keep a small radio playing in the corner to break the silence while we work. The team is just a handful of guys who know their way around the tools. We don't wear suits or have big meetings. We just look at the schedule for the day and get to it. Sometimes the power goes out in the area, and we just sit outside and wait for it to come back. It gives us a chance to talk. We’ve been in this unit for quite some time, and we know all the other business owners on the block. We aren't trying to change the world. We just make our parts and make sure they’re ready on time. It’s honest work and it keeps us occupied. The floor is made of old cracked concrete, and we’ve painted yellow lines on it that are mostly worn away now. We have a heavy steel door that squeaks every time someone walks in. It lets us know when a delivery is arriving, so it’s actually kind of useful. We keep our tools on big pegboards, and most are older than the guys using them. We take our lunch break together at a plastic table.
