Deccan Florabase Limited

Our office is tucked away in Mittal Court, specifically in the B Wing, room 103-B. Being in Nariman Point means it’s always crowded outside, but once you get inside it’s a bit quieter. Deccan Florabase Limited has been operating from this spot for a long time. It’s not a huge space, just enough for the desks and the records we need to keep. We handle flower-related business stuff, mostly logistics and coordination. The light in the office is okay in the afternoons, but we usually have the overhead lights on all day anyway. There’s a lot of coming and going. People are always checking schedules or talking to suppliers. We aren’t big on fancy decorations or anything. There’s a calendar on the wall and a few plants that someone remembers to water once in a while. It’s a workplace, plain and simple. Working at Nariman Point has its ups and downs, like the parking situation which is always a headache. We usually just take the train or a cab. We’ve got a system that works for us. It’s not always perfectly organized, but we know where everything is. If a file goes missing, someone usually finds it under a coffee mug. We like it here because it’s central and everyone knows the building. We just do our thing and head home when the sun goes down. We're mostly just regular folks doing our best to keep things moving.
