De 3Rd Street

You can find De 3Rd Street inside the Hotel Red Palm Residency on the ground floor. We’re located on 3rd Road in Khar West, right near the station. Being so close to the station means there’s always a crowd outside, but once you step in, it’s a bit calmer. Mumbai is a fast city, and Khar is no different. We started this place because we wanted to be in this neighborhood. It’s a small space, really. We share the building with the hotel, so we see a lot of different people coming and going. Some are travelers staying upstairs, and others are just people from the local offices. We don't have a big corporate team or anything like that. It’s just a handful of us making sure things run right. The floor is a bit worn in places from people walking through, and the lighting is just regular bulbs. We don't try to make it look like a magazine photo. It's just a place where we work. Sometimes the deliveries arrive late because of the traffic on 3rd Road, and we just have to deal with it. That's just life in Mumbai for you. We don't have a grand mission statement. We just open up in the morning, do our work, and head home at night. If you’re coming from the station, we’re just a short walk away. We’ve been at this spot for a while now and we like it here.
