Danube Fashions

Danube Fashions is tucked away in A-25 Technocraft House. We are on 3rd Street in the MIDC Marol Industrial Area, which is in Andheri East. It’s an industrial neighborhood, so you hear a lot of trucks and other factories working all day long. Our space is where we figure out the latest styles and get them ready. It’s not a glamorous fashion studio like you see on TV. It’s mostly just us at our desks or around the samples, trying to see what works. The building is a bit older, but it serves our needs just fine. Being in MIDC is handy because everything we need is close by. We spend a lot of time looking at different fabrics and talking to suppliers. Sometimes the air conditioning struggles during the peak of summer, but we keep going. We are a small group of people who just happen to like clothes. We don't have a big corporate ladder or anything like that. Everyone just chips in where they are needed. It’s common to see us with measuring tapes around our necks and coffee in our hands. We’ve been in this part of Andheri for quite a while now. We know the local tea stall and the guys who deliver our parcels. It’s a community of workers here. We just try to put out decent work every single day without any fuss.
