Ken Mannequins

Ken Mannequins is tucked away in Shop No. 11 of the Tambakuwala Building. You can find us on Bhavani Shankar Road in Dadar West. Dadar is always crowded, as anyone who lives in Mumbai knows, and our street is no different. The building is one of those classic old structures that has been around forever. We have all our mannequins set up in the shop, and it can look a bit strange to people passing by if they aren't expecting it. It’s not a massive showroom with bright lights. Instead, it is a functional workspace where we keep our stock and talk to people who need displays. We’ve been here in Dadar for a long time because it’s central for everyone. Working in the Tambakuwala Building has its own charm, even if the stairs are a bit narrow and the walls could use a fresh coat of paint. We don’t really worry about looking perfect. Our focus is just on the mannequins and making sure we have what people are looking for. The shop gets a lot of dust from the road, so we are always cleaning something. It’s a busy life here, but we wouldn’t want to be anywhere else. People know us as the mannequin place on Bhavani Shankar Road. It is a simple, honest business. We just open up in the morning and stay until the work is finished for the day.
