Friends Garments

Our shop is located at 102/1 Madavwadi, right on Naigaon X Road here in Dadar. It's a crowded area, but that's just life in Mumbai. We have been selling clothes here for a good amount of time. Usually, it's just a couple of us working the floor, folding shirts and putting things back where they belong after someone has looked through everything. We carry a mix of stuff, mostly ready-made garments for everyday wear. It gets pretty loud outside with the traffic, especially in the evenings when everyone is heading home from work. Sometimes the lights flicker a bit if the monsoon is heavy, but we manage. We don't have those big fancy mannequins you see in the malls. We just hang things up so people can see the fabric and the colors. It's a straightforward business. We open up in the morning, sweep the front, and wait for the first customers. Some people stay and talk for a long time, while others are in a big rush. We treat everyone the same. It’s not a huge place, so you have to watch your step around the bundles of new stock. We get deliveries every week, so there is always something new to move around. If you are looking for something basic and honest, we are usually around from morning until late evening. Just look for the sign near the cross road and walk in.
