Being in the Jogani Industrial Estate means it's always noisy around here. We are at unit 103 on Tulsi Pipe Road. If you know Dadar, you know how busy this area gets. The lift in this building is a bit moody, so sometimes we just take the stairs. Fashion Forecast India has been operating out of this space for some years now. It's an industrial setting, so don't expect plush carpets or glass walls. We have work tables, sewing machines, and a lot of thread. The tea stall downstairs is where we spend our breaks. Working in Dadar is great because everything is close by, though the monsoon rains make getting to the estate a bit of a challenge. Our team is a mix of old-timers who have been here since the start and some younger kids learning the ropes. We don't have a formal dress code. Most of us just wear what's comfortable for a long day of moving boxes and checking garments. There's always a truck loading or unloading something out front. It's just the way things are here. We keep our heads down and focus on the orders. Sometimes we stay late when a big shipment needs to go out, but mostly we try to stick to regular hours. It’s a practical place for practical work. Nothing more to it. We don't spend money on advertising. Most people find us because someone told them we were here. That's good enough for us.
