Vastram Apparels

We've been here at Kasturchand Mill Compound for a while now. It's a busy spot right near Manish Market and the Kohinoor area on Tulsi Pipe Road. If you know the neighborhood, you know how hectic it gets around here. Our shop, Vastram Apparels, is just one of those places where we try to get the work done without much fuss. We mostly deal with clothes and fabric stuff. People come in and out all day. It’s not a fancy place, just a regular setup with machines and some stock piled up. Some days the traffic outside is a nightmare, but we manage. My uncle started this a long time ago and we just kept it going. We don't have a big website or anything, just this physical spot. Most of the people who come here are regulars from the local markets. We talk to the same vendors every week. It feels like home even when the floor is dusty and there are boxes everywhere. We do what we can with the space we have. It’s a bit cramped inside sometimes. You might have to step over a few bundles to get to the back. That's just how it is in this part of town. We stick to what we know, which is making and selling clothes. Nothing fancy, just honest work. We don't really do the whole marketing thing. If you find us, you find us. It’s a simple life here.
