Shaan Garments

We've been here in Dadar East for a while now, up on the fourth floor of Shatrunjay Tower. Most people know the landmark near Santoshi Mata Mandir, it makes finding us a bit easier if you're coming from the station. It's just a regular workspace where we handle the garment stuff. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything like that. It gets pretty busy during the day with the machines running and the fabric rolls everywhere. Sometimes the lift acts up, so walking up is part of the routine. We just focus on getting the clothes done. It’s a lot of work but we keep at it. The area is always crowded, especially near the temple on Fridays. We’ve grown used to the noise from the street below. Most of us here have been working together for years. We aren't trying to be some big brand, just making sure the stitching is right and the orders go out. It's a small team. We drink a lot of tea while we work. The space isn't huge, but it works for what we do. If you stop by, you'll see stacks of cloth and people busy at their desks. It’s just how things go here at Shaan Garments. We try to keep things simple and just stick to the work we know. Dadar is a good spot for this kind of thing, close to everything we need for the business. There is always a lot of chatter and the sound of scissors. It is home for us.
