D M Apparels is located inside the Guru Gobind Singh Industrial Estate. We are at unit 125. This place is in Goregaon East, not too far from the Jay Coach stop. It’s right off the Western Express Highway, which is good for transport but the noise never really stops. Our workspace is pretty basic. We have rows of machines and a lot of fabric rolls sitting in the corners. It’s not a place where you’d come to browse like a mall. We mostly focus on making the garments and getting them packed up. It can get pretty loud in here when all the machines are running at once. We’ve been in this spot for several years now. The industrial estate is always full of activity, trucks coming and going all day. Sometimes we have to hunt for the watchman to let us in early. We don't have a big fancy office. It’s just a couple of desks near the entrance and then the production area. We don't spend money on decor or branding. Most people who know us just come straight to the unit. We work long hours, especially when we have a big deadline to meet. It’s honest work. We don't use any fancy talk or marketing words. We just make the clothes and send them out to the people who ordered them. That’s about all there is to it. We just keep doing our work every day.
