D Line Computer

You can find us at No 31 in the New Bawan Chawl. We are right by the Veer Ta Cotton Exchange on Yagnik Marg, so it is a very busy part of the city. Being D Line Computer in this location means there is always a lot of noise and people moving around outside. The shop is small and usually filled with parts, screens, and wires everywhere. We spend most of our time hunched over keyboards or looking at motherboards under a lamp. It gets quite dusty with all the foot traffic from the Cotton Exchange nearby, so we are constantly cleaning off the equipment. People stop in because their laptops stopped working or they need a quick fix for a computer issue. We don't have a big sign or a polished showroom. It is just a workspace where we try to get things fixed as fast as we can. Sometimes we are waiting on a part to arrive and the shelves get a bit cluttered. It is a bit of a tight squeeze when more than two people are inside. We handle a lot of different problems every day, some easy and some that take a long time to figure out. It is just us working away in the Chawl, keeping the machines running for the locals. Most of the time we have the radio on in the background while we work on the electronics.
