You can find us in the Ramchandra Building over on L.T. Marg in Kalabadevi. It’s a really hectic area of Mumbai, always something happening outside. Our door is number 280. The building has been here forever, and you can tell by the walls and the way the stairs creak when you walk up. We have been operating from this spot for a long time. It’s a bit of a maze inside with all the different businesses, but we have our own corner where we handle our business. It’s mostly just desks, phones, and a lot of ledgers. We don't have a fancy reception or anything like that. When you come in, you usually just see one of us working away at a computer or talking to a supplier. The fans are always going because it gets pretty stuffy in the afternoons. Kalabadevi is the kind of place where you have to be quick, so we stay pretty focused on getting things shipped out or received. It’s noisy, dusty, and crowded, but it’s where we belong. We deal with a lot of different people every day. Some are regular faces we’ve known for years, others are just passing through. We just do our work and go home when it’s finished. There isn't much more to it than that. It’s a practical setup for the kind of trade we do here in the market.
