D H Organics

D H Organics is based out of Savita Sadhan, which is building number 61. We have our space on the first floor. This is right on Sahar Road in Andheri East. If you know Andheri, you know how busy Sahar Road stays throughout the day. There are always rickshaws and cars buzzing past. Our building is a bit older, but it serves us well. Being on the first floor is convenient because we don’t have to climb too many stairs when we are carrying supplies. The space inside is functional. We have areas for our products and a small spot where we sit to do the accounts. It’s not a shiny showroom. It looks like a place where real work happens. We started this because we wanted to do something local in our own neighborhood. We spend a lot of time talking to suppliers and checking on our stock. It gets dusty because of the road outside, so we are always wiping things down. The people around here are mostly working class or small business owners like us. We don’t have a fancy website or a marketing team. We just open up in the morning and see what the day brings. Sometimes things go smoothly and sometimes we are dealing with leaks or power cuts, but that is just part of being in an old building in Andheri. We just keep going.
