D B Kapoor & Co Exim Pvt Ltd

We are based on the third floor of the Twin II building, which is part of the Twin Commercial complex on Marol Maroshi Road. Being in Andheri East means we are right in the middle of a lot of industrial activity. D B Kapoor & Co Exim Pvt Ltd has been in this office for a while. It’s a typical commercial space with a lot of natural light coming in through the large windows. We handle a lot of export and import details, which means there’s always a stack of documents sitting on someone’s desk. It can get a bit hectic when multiple shipments are moving at once and the phones won't stop ringing. We don't have a receptionist or a big lobby area for visitors. You just walk in and see us at our desks working away. The Marol area is always crowded, so getting to work in the morning can be a bit of a chore with the traffic, but once we’re inside, we just focus on the screen and the phone. We have a small pantry in the corner where we make tea and take quick breaks together. The walls are mostly bare, except for a couple of calendars and some maps that are starting to fade. It’s a functional environment. We don’t go in for much talk about corporate strategy; we just see what needs to be shipped and we make the calls to get it done. Every day brings a different set of challenges with customs or transport, but we just deal with them.
