D A N I E L & S O N S is situated in the Vaibhav Industrial Estate, right on Mahakali Caves Road in Andheri East. If you’ve ever been to this part of Mumbai, you know how hectic it can get. We are in units 1-3, and it’s a typical industrial setup. There’s always trucks loading or unloading nearby, and the whole estate has a very busy, working-class feel to it. We’ve been here for quite some time, and the name on the door hasn't changed. It’s a family-run kind of vibe, even if we’ve grown a bit. We don't use any fancy language to describe what we do. We just come in, handle the production or the trading, and make sure the bills get paid. The office is tucked away in the front, and it’s usually piled with folders and samples. We don’t really do much in the way of advertising. Most people find us because they’ve worked with us before or heard about us from someone else. It gets pretty humid in the warehouse during the monsoon, but we just keep the fans on and keep moving. We’re just regular people trying to run a business in a crowded city. It’s not always easy, but it’s what we know. We value the relationships we have with our neighbors in the estate and our long-time customers.
