Cuisinart India is located on the second floor of the Parekh Building, which is number 37 in 2nd Bhoiwada, Bhuleshwar. If you know Mumbai, you know Bhuleshwar is one of those old, crowded areas where every inch of space is used. Our office is up a narrow set of stairs, and it’s always a bit of a squeeze when we have deliveries. We’ve been in this building for several years. It’s got a lot of character, even if the walls could use a fresh coat of paint. We spend our days managing orders and talking to suppliers. Since we are in the middle of a busy market area, there’s always a lot of noise coming up from the street, but we’ve gotten used to it. We aren't a big, slick company with hundreds of employees. We are just a small team trying to keep things running smoothly. Our desks are usually piled high with papers and samples. We don't have any fancy mission statements or corporate slogans. We just try to provide the products people want and handle any issues that come up as best as we can. Some days are better than others, especially when the logistics in this part of the city get complicated. But we like being in the heart of the trade district. It keeps us close to the action. We just focus on our daily tasks and try to be helpful to anyone who reaches out.
